梅峰村地处晋江市东部，在东石镇东侧；离晋江市区17.7公里，离镇政府8.7公里，下辖2个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
早年的大队叫聖厝，这是取自所辖的型厝自然村。相传宋时一颜姓官员在此筑归休园林，广植梅树，园林背靠数座山峰，村遂更名梅峰。[2]
人口与外出[edit]
设8个村民小组，786户。全村常住2927人，60岁以上者466人；外出流动210人，主要流向深圳、广州、厦门，多经商或务工。[1]
非遗[edit]
晋江型厝香龙习俗为泉州级非物质文化遗产（第六批），保护单位为东石镇梅峰村老年人协会。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2023年12月，村庄获评福建省2023年度「一村一品」专业村（胡萝卜）。[2]
