地名由来[edit]

早先孙姓在此居住。唐代富商林銮在海滨建一石塔作航标，村名称塔江；石塔倒塌后，刘姓重建石塔，聚居于塔的上方，村以塔头命名，其中刘姓居住的角落称塔头刘。[2]
