光渺村是东石镇下辖的行政村，位于东南沿海，由石菌、路东两个自然村组成，海岸线约2千米。[1]

地名由来[edit]

为缅怀革命烈士王光渺（1929至1949年），村所在的大队以「光渺」命名。王光渺为东石乡石菌村人，解放战争时期参加革命斗争。[2]

人口与产业[edit]

常住人口3987人，设8个村民小组。主要产业以渔业为主，服装加工为辅，规模以上企业21家。[1]

沿革[edit]

宋时隶属安仁乡仁和里，明清归泉州南门外的十一都，1944年归东石镇。[2]
