地名由来[edit]

南宋时郭氏最早在此开基，因宗祠厅堂使用一块大石板而称「郭砛」，后写作郭岑。[2]

沿革[edit]

明、清属十都，1944年属东石镇双碧保。[2]

全村约900余户、3736人登记在册，外来人口则有700多人，划分为16个村民小组。[1]
