金瓯村是东石镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区北部，距镇政府约5.5公里，由山前、前埔两个自然村组成，主村在山前。[1]

村落原名山前，后以村后芦山形似覆置的瓯而改名金瓯。[2]

沿革[edit]

宋属安仁乡仁和里；元明清仍属该里，清代计作十都。民国24年（1935年）归二区管辖，民国33年（1944年）改属康乐乡妙山保。[2]

1956年属东石区古塔乡，此后经历多次隶属变动。[2]

经济[edit]

村内以制伞业为主，全村大小企业、加工厂100多家，是东石镇主要经济乡之一。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，金瓯村被福建省农业农村厅列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[2]
