萧下村是东石镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区西北隅，地处安海湾东侧，安东公路穿村中段，距晋江市区14公里。[1][2]

村内以制伞业为特色，百度百科称有制伞企业120多家。[3]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，元代有萧氏先民在此建居，村名先称「霄霞」，寓烟霞辉煌之意，后以谐音简化为萧下。[2]

沿革[edit]

宋为安仁乡仁和里管辖，明清时属泉州南门外十都，1944年属东石镇珠霞保。[2]

人口与产业[edit]

截至2020年年底，全村1700多户、7200多人，另有外来常住人口7000多人。[1]

村中产业包括伞骨、伞布与五金配件的配套。[3]

以海蛎养殖与加工为主导产业。2025年5月，村庄获评「泉州市2025年度市级一村一品专业村」。[2]
