井林村是东石镇下辖的行政村，坐落在镇区西北方向，离镇中心约2公里，西侧挨着安东工业区，北侧靠近安海镇。[1][2]

村名取自印斗山东麓的果林井然成行的景象。[3]

地名与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村址在印斗山东麓，唐代已有人居住。宋代东石航海世家的后人在山脚扩建渡口码头，码头仓库排列有序，山坡果树成林，村因此得名「井林」。[3]

宋时属晋江安仁乡仁和里，元代划为都，明清沿用泉郡晋邑十都桂林乡的旧称。1944年属安海镇井林保，1956年并入东石区古塔乡；1961年设为东石公社的井林大队；1984年才改设东石镇井林村委会。[3]

经济与人口[edit]

村内以食品、五金、塑料、化工、服装等产业为主，农产品有胡萝卜、红薯和蔬菜。[1]

辖区面积201.7公顷，约4050人，共10个村民小组。[1]

荣誉与文物[edit]

2021年2月，井林村入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[2]

东桥是一座跨越东洋港的古石桥，曾列为晋江县第二批文物保护单位，今只余两端残段。[3]
