第三社区处于镇区中段：东面紧挨第四社区，南侧为新港口，西面与第二社区接壤，北面连着东埕村。[1]

社区与第四、第五社区旧时同称沙窟，别称仙迹境；以原西宅（蔡姓一族）为基础，又雅称珠泽。[2]

沿革[edit]

1944年属东石镇。1985年撤销大队，成立东石镇第三居委会，前身称西宅，土改时称东石镇第三基点。[3]

人口[edit]

社区辖四个居民小组，总人口3479人。[1]

社区属重点侨乡，侨胞散居马来西亚、菲律宾与新加坡等地。[3]

文物与建筑[edit]

珠泽蔡氏宗祠为市级文物保护单位，社区内另有福竹林殿七王爷馆、朱王爷馆等庙宇。[2]
