横坂村是陈埭镇的行政村，位于镇政府驻地北面约2公里，西界池店镇钱头村，东靠霞村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

该地古称茅坂，因沿海滩涂围垦后茅草满坡而得名。后因村子横卧在九十九溪下游的山坡上，演称横坂。林、许两姓是主要聚居的姓氏，分别形成横坂林、横坂许两个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代属永宁乡永福里，明清属二十九都。民国时期（1944年）属青阳乡涵岱保。1956年划入池店区洋埭乡，1959年归苏厝公社，1961年起归陈埭公社横坂大队管辖，1984年改设陈埭镇横坂村委会。[1]

2020年至2022年间，横坂村三次列入淘宝村名单。[1]
