涵口村是陈埭镇的行政村，陈氏聚居，村中有明清至民国时期的古大厝群，陈紫峰纪念馆也设在村中。[1][2][3]

村名由来[edit]

相传，陈氏先祖离开青阳山时得梦兆，指引他在一处涵洞口定居。此地有暗渠通海，遂名涵透，后写作涵口。[2]

陈氏与人物[edit]

涵口为陈氏聚居的村落。明代理学家陈琛（1477年—1545年），号紫峰，其故宅在涵口村，村中设有陈紫峰纪念馆。他著有《四书浅说》《易经通典》《正学编》《紫峰文集》等。[2]

涵口古建筑群[edit]

涵口古建筑群由六座大厝组成，排列在村中，建造者多为本村乡贤与海外华侨。建造始于明弘治年间，此后陆续建成，直至民国初年。大厝采用硬山屋顶，外墙用砖石混砌，屋脊两端翘起，屋内梁枋与门窗雕有飞禽走兽等图案。[3]

1992年，这组建筑中的几座被划入晋江县第二批文物保护单位。百度百科称其现为泉州市文物保护单位，博雅地名网则作晋江市文物保护单位。[2][3]

学校[edit]

紫峰小学建校于1927年，先前叫涵口小学，后因纪念陈紫峰而改名。晋江紫峰中学2008年秋季开始招收高中部学生。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年至2022年间，涵口村三次列入淘宝村名单。[1]
