霞村是陈埭镇的行政村，位于镇区中部，周边有溪边、涵口、横坂、涵埭等村，陈泉公路与七一路穿村而过。[1]
村名由来[edit]
古时有官家与富户在此设上下两处储粮之仓。后有谢、黄、纪、陈、王等姓迁入下仓一带聚居，遂成村落，村名下仓；又因方言称“下村”，后取霞光辉映之意，雅称霞村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
霞村在宋代属永宁乡和风里，明清属二十九都，民国时期（1944年）则为青阳乡涵岱保。1956年划入池店区洋埭乡后，1959年改归苏厝公社，由洋埭大队管辖。1961年起由陈埭公社的涵埭大队管理，1984年起归陈埭镇涵埭村委会管辖。1997年，霞村自涵埭分出，设立霞村村委会。[1]
