地名由来[edit]
社区名称取自其临近晋江流域的位置，“浦”字指近水之地，也指河流汇入大海的入口。[1]
设立与范围[edit]
晋江市政府于2016年2月3日批准成立江浦社区居委会。社区东以鞋都路为界，西抵鸿源路和江浦路，北靠滨江路，南到六源路。[1]
