社区处于镇内交通要冲：向南可直达晋江市区，东西两侧各有七一路分别通往石狮市和泉州市区，北面可接沿海大通道。[2]

人口与生活[edit]

社区内以回族居民居多，通用闽南语，建有道教与佛教的寺庙。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

社区内的陈埭石经幢建于宋代，立于双慈桥西侧，列为市级文物保护单位。[1][4]
