苏垵村在磁灶镇东北部，梅溪河段绕村而过，村子西邻岭畔村，南接下灶村，东与西园街道大下梧村相接[1][2][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

村子始建于宋朝中期，是晋江市老革命基点村，战争年代村民积极参战[2]。明清两代归一都。1943年，即民国三十二年，隶属梅溪乡的前垵保。1956年归池店区磁灶镇管辖，1984年成立磁灶镇苏垵村委会[2]。

村中有9个村民小组，人口较多的姓氏是陈姓[2][3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

将军山上的俞大猷墓为福建省第三批省级文物保护单位，墓主是明代抗倭名将俞大猷[3][4][5]。

文化[edit]

村里有一项泉州市级非遗，即「黑茶古」制陶手工技艺[3]。村内有两座庙，供奉夫人妈和元帅宫，夫人妈的香期在农历三月初一，元帅宫的香期在九月初九[3]。
