大宅村在磁灶镇南部，距镇政府约4公里，东邻太昌村，西连瑶琼村，北面隔着锦美村。双龙路与沈海福厦高速穿过村域[3]。
历史沿革[edit]
据村史，陈氏一世庚朗公约在公元1200年前后由莆田仙游迁居此地[1][2]。
地理环境[edit]
村域面积约3.4平方千米，耕地约270亩。山地、农田和果林茶架地的面积大致相当，作物以水稻、地瓜、大豆、花生为主[2]。
人口民族[edit]
2012年9月的统计显示，村里约有2809人[2]。村中以陈姓为主[3]。
经济[edit]
村民收入多来自务工，其次是华侨汇款，再次是企业和供销收入，靠农业收入的最少[2]。
侨乡[edit]
清初至民国年间，村中不少人移居东南亚，海外侨胞数以千计，内有港澳台同胞[2]。
文化[edit]
大宅自然村有陶泽大宫，供奉夫人妈、赵元帅、康元帅和保生大帝，祭祀香期在农历三月十六[3]。
