洋宅村位于磁灶镇西北部，西与洋尾、三吴两村相邻，北面与下官路村相邻。324省道在村子东侧经过，友谊大道从村中穿过[3]。
历史沿革[edit]
1993年，村里获得的荣誉是磁灶镇先进基层组织。1994年，晋江市授予该村基本小康村称号；1997年改定为宽裕型小康村；1998年被评为晋江市文明村[2]。2001年获计划生育先进单位称号。2008年，被福建省评为「家园清洁行动」示范村[2]。
经济[edit]
村中有陶瓷厂、针织厂，并有交通运输业。全村耕地877亩，其中水田600亩[1][2]。
文化[edit]
村中有梅洋宫和梅洋寺，两座寺庙均建在本村内[3]。
