三吴村位于磁灶镇西北部，距镇政府约4公里，西侧是国道324线，村中有梅溪流过。村里的三个自然村都是吴姓，合起来称为「三吴」[1][2][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

据村史记载，1450年，磁灶梅溪一支的仁斋公迁居到一处名为「王林」的地方，后改称杏林。其后子孙分居西边辽、杏林、前山三地，三地都姓吴，所以得名三吴[1]。

明清时，这里属晋邑泉州南门外二都。民国三十年（1941年）与大埔、前尾合称梅前保。1955年属内坑区天亮乡，1958年划入磁灶公社洋前大队，1961年单设三吴大队，其中包括妹山村[1]。

村里以吴姓为主[3]。

经济[edit]

村里有陶瓷、模具制造和瓷砖加工等多种企业，还有超市和商店[1]。

文化[edit]

解放战争时期，闽中游击队曾在三吴驻扎，村里有多位革命先辈经常来村中开展地下工作[1]。杏林和前山各有一座上帝公宫，西边辽有一座帝爷公宫[3]。

荣誉[edit]

1996年至1998年，三吴村连续三年被晋江市委、市政府评为「移风易俗先进村」。2002年，被晋江市人民政府评为「文明村居」[1]。
