岭畔村在磁灶镇北部，离镇政府约2公里。东面与下灶自然村相接，北面挨着井边村，梅溪由西向东流经村子中部[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，这里属泉州南门外第二都。民国时称「岭畔保」，又称「六房保」[2]。1961年设磁灶公社岭畔大队，后改为岭畔村；1984年改为岭畔村委会[2]。

地理环境[edit]

村中东有虎尾庵山，西有二郎山，南有蜘蛛山，三山围成一个湖坑。北面的童子山挡在溪北，成为村子的屏障[2]。村中有耕地约600亩[2]。

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网，截至2008年，全村有人口3493人、930户[2]。村里设8个村民小组，以吴姓居多[3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村北的土尾庵，是磁灶窑址的一部分，有土尾庵窑，窑址长约60米、宽约50米[4]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，该村获「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号，命名者为福建省爱卫办[1]。2022年10月，该村入选「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，认定单位是福建省农业农村厅[1]。
