磁灶镇在晋江市西北部的紫帽山南麓，北面与紫帽镇接壤。这里的陶瓷烧造始于西晋，宋元时期窑场产品远销海外，2000年6月获得「中国陶瓷重镇」的称号[1][2][3]。镇内的磁灶窑址是全国重点文物保护单位，俞大猷墓、民生亭等文物也在境内[6][9]。

历史沿革[edit]

宋代，今镇域属开建乡的养能里和务本里管辖[1]。1951年设立磁灶镇时，所辖地方分属晋江县第四区和第六区公所[10]。2003年6月9日，砌田、车厝、官前、小桥四个行政村划出，归属西园办事处[1][2]。

文化[edit]

据维基百科，镇内西晋泰始元年（265年）即开始烧制陶器，此后历代延续，宋朝时产品已在海外有名[2]。博雅地名网则说，磁灶之名来自南朝晚期以来持续烧制陶瓷的传统[3]。

磁灶窑址沿梅溪两岸分布。据博雅地名网统计，窑址中宋、元的有12处，唐、五代的有6处，南朝的有1处[9]。其中土尾庵窑、蜘蛛山窑等较有代表性，产品包括碗、盏和军持，釉色有黄、绿、青等[9]。

2023年11月，镇里获批「第三批全国乡村治理示范乡镇」的称号。2025年11月，又入选「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范乡镇」[4]。

名胜古迹[edit]

磁灶窑址是全国重点文物保护单位[6]。俞大猷墓在苏垵村北侧，墓主是明代抗倭将领俞大猷，它是省级文物，列在第三批公布的名单上[5][7][9]。

宅内村南仓自然村的「闽浙赣人民游击纵队闽中支队泉州团队部旧址」，属市级文物保护单位[8][9]。另有坝头村溪头自然村村道旁的明代民生亭、宅内村的明代庄用宾墓，以及下官路村溪口山上的南朝窑址溪口山窑址，同为市级文物[9]。
