杏坂社区属晋江市新塘街道，位于七一路一侧，与西滨、石狮及陈埭的村社相接。辖区内海汇庵的碑刻群为明代至民国的水利碑记。[1][2][3]

地名由来[edit]

1961年从杏田析出另立大队时，取所辖的杏墩后王与沟下坂各一字，合为杏坂。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时属二十六都，民国三十三年（1944年）属大同乡杏墩后保。建国后先归栖梧区后洋乡，1958年起属罗山公社杏田大队的一部分，1961年析出另成杏坂大队。1984年设罗山乡杏坂村委会，1991年起称罗山镇杏坂村委会。2003年11月起，杏坂改设新塘街道杏坂社区居委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

海汇庵内的杏坂海岸长桥碑刻群，为明代至民国时期所立的水利碑记，共七项，包括明代陈紫峰撰文的碑记、清代数方修堤碑记，以及民国二十五年的碑记等。2013年2月，该群被列为晋江市第五批市级文物保护单位。[3]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」；2021年6月，被命名为「2020年度晋江市平安村（社区）」，评为四星级。[1]
