历史沿革[edit]
因苏氏先人较早在此定居，此地得名苏前。社区此前曾叫杏村，但来历已难以考证。[1]
据百度百科，社区历史可以追溯到明代。[3]
人口民族[edit]
社区常住居民1450人，划分为5个居民小组，合计378户，另有约800人暂住于此。[2]
经济[edit]
社区的耕地面积为406亩。[2]
文化[edit]
社区办公楼是一座功能齐全的建筑，建筑面积约1200平方米。楼内设有老年协会与老年人活动中心，还有村民文艺活动中心。[2]
社区有苏前小学一所，共七个班，学生三百余人。另外社区建有菜市场，并装设了路灯。[2]
2001年至2005年间，社区在婚育新风进万家活动中被评为「先进村（社区）」；另外，在人口与计生工作方面也获得过先进单位的称号。[2]
