赖厝社区位于西园街道的中心地区，双龙路与岭赖路穿村而过，交通便利。[1]

村名赖厝源于开基始祖泽翁公。他是河南赖国的子孙，后代以赖为姓，村因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代，这里归三十一都管辖。民国时期它属碧山乡版筑保；1956年划为池店区霞岭乡的一部分。[1]

1961年改隶青阳公社，成为其中的赖厝大队；1984年，公社与镇合并，此地变为青阳镇的赖厝村委会。2003年，它脱离青阳镇，转入西园街道，改为赖厝社区居委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

赖厝紫霄宫建于明正德年间，所奉神明为玄天上帝。宫殿历代有修缮，坐北朝南，现存三开间两落的格局，保有民国时期的铁钟与名匾。宫中分炉到东南亚及台湾。2019年被列入第六批市级文物保护单位。[2][3][4]

赖氏家庙始建于明洪武年间。正德年间，谏议大夫赖凤返乡修缮宗祠，建筑为二落三间，天井用三十六块青石板铺成，屋脊作燕尾形。据2023年报道，它是一般文物点。[3]
