双沟社区位于梅岭街道，属城乡结合区，由五个自然村组成。[1]

地名由来[edit]

辖区是平原沃野，九十九溪的两条主要支流穿过此地，因此得名双沟；社区居委会以驻地自然村双沟命名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代隶属永宁乡和风里，明清时属二十九都。建国初归池店区苏厝乡，此后分别隶属苏厝公社与陈埭公社的双沟大队；1984年为陈埭镇所属双沟村委会。[1]

2003年11月，双沟自陈埭镇划出并入梅岭街道，转为双沟社区居委会。[1]
