地名由来[edit]
社区又称凤竹：祠前正对凤顶山，祠后竹林成片，因此称凤竹。早年居民的住宅多位于竹林之下，于是又称竹树下。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代隶属永宁乡和风里，明清时属二十九都。新中国成立后先归池店区苏厝乡，1959年编入苏厝公社，1961年转入青阳公社，1984年改立青阳镇所属的村委会。[1]
2003年11月，青阳镇撤并，竹树下村改归梅岭街道，成为竹树下社区居委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2015年3月，社区被认定为「第三批国家级充分就业社区」；2021年6月，获评「2020年度晋江市平安村（社区）」。[1]
