象山社区是晋江市青阳街道下辖的社区，位于晋江市区南部的罗裳山脚，辖区内有象山中心小学、象山中心幼儿园和洪山文创园等单位。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，罗裳山延伸处的山丘上有一块石头，形似玉笏朝天，故称笏山。早期地图标作上山，后传说此山似象穴，遂改称象山。村中现有一座林氏宗祠。[1]

明清时此地属泉州市南门外的二十八都，1944年属大同乡，1985年至2003年属青阳镇象山村委会。[1]

2021年6月，社区被命名为「2020年度晋江市平安村（社区）」。[1]
