曾井社区是晋江市青阳街道下辖的社区，位于晋江市区，社区名称取自驻地的自然村，该村因一口古井而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区居委会以驻地自然村命名。曾姓最早在此建居，人口以曾姓为多，故称曾厝。村中古井水质甘冽，又适宜漂染丝绸布匹，乡人称为曾厝井，外乡人简称曾井，自然村因井得名。[1]

据2021年发布的社区情况简介，曾井社区户籍共1209户、4732人，男女分别为2280人和2452人，姓氏以张、曾两姓居多。[2]
