霞行社区是晋江市青阳街道下辖的社区，社区内的白毫庵是文物保护单位，与明代书法家张瑞图有关。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，北宋天圣年间（1023年）一位知府南行至此，适逢夕阳西斜、霞光满天，遂称此地为霞行。另一种说法是，明代书法家张瑞图在此居住，朝臣来访须下轿，地名由「下行」雅化为「霞行」。[1]

霞行在1993年9月自莲屿村独立出来，单设为一个行政村；2004年12月24日撤村，改设霞行社区居委会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据2021年发布的社区情况简介，霞行社区常住户籍人口2912人，外来常住人口3000多人，主要姓氏为张、陈两姓。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

白毫庵位于社区内，始建于宋代，明代经张瑞图主持重修，现存正殿为三开间硬山式建筑，列为文物保护单位。[2][3]
