洋厝村位于永宁镇西北，紧临石永公路，距镇区约2.8千米，又称洋山。[2]

村名由“杨厝”改称而来，因侨亲回乡建造洋房较多而得名。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

明初，杨氏在此聚族而居，村称“杨厝”。之后又有王、林、苏、傅等姓迁入。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

清中叶，李氏族人有不少人渡海前往吕宋与台湾经商，在福州设行郊，又在吕宋兴建李厝街，村中渐以李氏为主。[2]

因华侨回乡多建洋房，原来的杨厝生产大队遂改称洋厝。[1]
