永宁第四社区位于永宁镇镇中心区，是2011年由永宁社区居委会分设的四个社区之一。[1][2]

社区内的永宁天后宫石刻为石狮市级文物保护单位。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

永宁解放后，镇人民政权随之建立，此后先后为晋江县第九区、第十五区政府驻地。[2]

1958年隶属石狮人民公社，当时为永宁大队的第四中队；1961年改属永宁人民公社，1984年归永宁镇。[2]

1988年9月设立永宁社区居委会，2011年5月一分为四，本社区定名为永宁第四社区。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

永宁天后宫石刻位于社区内，天后宫明代始建，近年重建，宫内后壁保存一座花岗岩石刻，浮雕佛像端坐莲花座上。2020年3月15日，它被石狮市公布为第三批市级文物保护单位。[3]
