奈厝前村位于石狮市锦尚镇西部，在厝上溪北岸，距石狮市区约5公里，辖奈厝前、墩上、上埭、洪堀四个自然村。村中侨胞较多，移居海外和境外的侨胞占户籍人口的相当比例。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村落最初建在溪岸边，常因溪水暴涨受淹，遂迁往地势较高的大溪前，最初称「内厝」。内厝与闽南话的「奈厝」谐音，此后俗称奈厝前。道光年间编修的《晋江县志》已载其名。[3]

1985年改设为祥芝乡下的奈厝前村委会，1999年划归锦尚镇。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

村中总户数792户，常住人口3252人，户籍人口3000人。海外和境外侨胞700余人，约占户籍人口的23%。[1]

村民小组12个。村域面积，按2021年简介约4500亩，按2024年村情页为1.91平方公里。[1][4]

蔬菜、地瓜和花生是村中主要的农作物。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

墩上一带，清代末年于村南创建城隍公宫，供奉的神明源自永宁城隍，香火绵延不断。[5]

奈清水库位于村内，建于1958年，坝长220米，高7.5米，以灌溉为主，兼养鱼，也是一处农家旅游景点。[5]

荣誉[edit]

2014年，村庄获福建省林学会授予「建设生态文明 促进百姓和谐」荣誉称号；2022年，获共青团泉州市委授予「泉州市五四红旗团（总）支部」；2024年度，成功申报为省级乡村振兴示范村。[1]
