锦尚镇政府东北面是杨厝村，村里包括杨厝与后山两个自然村。村名由明朝末年定居于此的杨姓人家而来，村域背靠杨山，山麓有杨山水库。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

杨姓衰落后，侯姓从外地迁入定居，仍沿用「杨厝」之名。据杨山侯氏族谱的记载，元末至正年间（约1350年），侯氏先人途中遇暴风雨，许愿若能平安还家便择地定居，后来迁居杨厝，并娶当地杨氏为妻，子孙衍为望族。[2]

1988年，杨厝改称杨厝村委会；1999年起隶属锦尚镇。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

杨山水库始建于1957年，2002年重建，沿岸建有供老人和儿童休闲的健身场所。村北隔路有杨厝观音寺。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

村中共412户，常住人口1609人，户籍人口1514人，设村民代表36人。[1]

村内企业11家，以针织为主；耕地约230亩。[1]
