锦尚镇位于福建省泉州市石狮市东南部，伸入泉州湾口，东面濒海，海岸线长8.4公里。1999年7月15日，镇从原祥芝镇析出设立。纺织、染整与服装构成的产业链是镇内经济的主干，此外还有树脂工艺、化工建材等门类。[1][2]

镇名的来历与一处旧村名相关：清乾隆年间，今厝上村曾名「港据」，村落位于海港旁的高地，景致繁盛，故又有「锦上」「锦尚」的美称。[3]
地理环境[edit]
镇域东侧濒临大海，南面与永宁镇接壤，西面连着蚶江镇，北面与鸿山镇相邻。[1][2]
人口[edit]
石狮市人民政府网站的镇概况列户籍人口2.4万人，外来人口1.6万人；百度百科引用的是截至2019年末的户籍人口24338人，博雅地名网则写作2.3万人。三处数字并不一致，此处各以其来源注明。[1][2][3]

据百度百科，2019年镇内规模以上工业企业37个，工业企业合计296个。博雅地名网记载，建镇以来镇里以工贸为主导，以农渔业为基础，树脂工艺、服装织造、化工建材是几大主要门类。[2][3][4]

卢厝村的狮阵是镇内的非物质文化遗产项目，2021年6月，卢厝狮阵入选「第五批国家级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录」。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2012年至2013年度，锦尚镇获国家级生态乡镇称号。2020年12月，锦尚镇获「福建省卫生乡镇」称号，由福建省爱卫办命名；2021年2月，入选福建省2018至2020年度省级文明村镇社区名单；2025年3月，锦尚镇获「第七届全国文明村镇」称号。[3]
2020年、2021年和2022年，锦尚镇三次列入阿里研究院公布的淘宝镇名单。[3]
