东埔三村地处石狮沿海的突出部分，村域面积约0.9平方公里，常住人口约5192人。[1]

村里的三大支柱产业是传统的海洋捕捞、海产品加工和汽车运输。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村由原东埔第三大队改制而来。这一带宋代隶安仁乡永宁里，明清归二十都，民国时为复兴乡东埔保。[2]

1949年划归晋江县第九区，1955年改隶双湖区，1956年并入莲塘区东埔乡，1958年为祥芝公社东埔大队。[2]

1980年12月，村从东埔大队中分立为东埔第三生产大队；1985年改设东埔第三村委会，隶属祥芝乡。1988年10月归石狮市祥芝乡，1999年9月11日起隶鸿山镇，村委会名为东埔三村委。[2]

祠堂与文物[edit]

村中的「东埔清代“四世一品”祠」在泉州市属文物保护单位，年代为清代，类别属古建筑。[2][3]

该祠纪念清初将领邱天胜，建于雍正丁未年（1727年）；祠名“四世一品”源自康熙三十六年（1697年）邱氏家族获诰封的荣誉。[4]

荣誉[edit]

村庄于2024年1月被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」，2023年11月被认定为「第三批全国乡村治理示范村」。[2]

此外，村里先后获得「福建省民主法治示范村」「福建省乡村治理示范村」等称号。[1]

东埔三村入选省级乡村振兴示范村。[5]
