莲坂村位于祥芝镇中部，北面临泉州湾南岸的内海。村里以农业和海产养殖为主。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村民在此居住已有二百八十多年。1961年设莲坂大队，1985年改称莲坂村委会。明清时期，村里曾有卢氏迁入。[1][2][3]

地理环境[edit]

村子的南面、北面和东面都有山坡环绕，北山坡顶有一块莲花石。站在石上俯瞰村落，错落的房屋像荷池中的一簇莲花，村名由此而来。[2][3]

村西是名为莲坂洋的平原，约千亩，土质为沙质，肥沃而水分充足，盛产甘薯、花生和蔬菜。北面隔着一道海堤便是泉州湾，滩涂上产蚶、螺、花蛤等贝类。[3]

经济[edit]

村民以农业和海产养殖为生，养殖的品种有花蛤、紫菜。20世纪七八十年代，村里的花生和萝卜曾是外贸的主要农产品。[1][3]

文化[edit]

村里有莲坂小学、莲坂村文体活动中心、龙兴寺和莲馨公园，另有莲坂万籁南音社。[1]

村里获得的荣誉有「祥芝镇先进基层党支部」「石狮市文明村」「泉州市文明单位」等，并于2025年5月入选泉州市「五个美丽」整村打造培育名单。[1][2]
