祥芝镇位于福建省泉州市石狮市东北部，伸入泉州湾口，是石狮东北部的一块突出部分。全镇陆域面积15.9平方千米，海岸线长12.9公里。镇内以渔业为基础，祥芝国家中心渔港是其依托，周边的捕捞、造船与水产加工连成一条产业链。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

祥芝古称苌萁，别名上施。据博雅地名网转述的传说，河南济阳蔡氏渡海来此定居，宗祠院中一棵古松生出灵芝草，灵芝草此后蔓延开来，地名遂改称祥芝。[3]

宋代此地属安仁乡永宁里，元明清时期分属晋江县的二十都与二十一都。民国时期设复兴乡，乡内分若干保，其中有祥芝保。1950年划入晋江县第九区（永宁），此后先后隶属双湖区、莲塘区，1958年成立祥芝人民公社。[4]

1985年改为祥芝乡，此后归石狮市管辖。1991年由乡改为镇；1999年，原祥芝镇分出一部分，另设鸿山镇和锦尚镇。[4][5]

地理环境[edit]

镇域位于泉州湾口一带，东面和东北面临海，南邻鸿山镇，西接蚶江镇，东面隔台湾海峡与台湾相望。镇内有古浮湾和斗美湾，海岸线长12.9公里。[1][3][5]

人口[edit]

镇内另有外来务工人员3万余人。[1]

经济[edit]

渔业是镇内的基础产业，以祥芝国家中心渔港为依托发展捕捞。港口周边聚集了水产品加工厂、冷冻厂、造船厂和渔网厂，由捕捞延伸到造船、冷冻、交易、加工和仓储运输，形成一条较完整的海洋产业链。[1][2]

工业方面，镇内有大堡工业集控园区，海洋生物食品园也在镇内，高新产业园区的祥芝片区同属本镇；纺织与水产加工企业也朝工贸一体化的方向发展。[1]

荣誉方面，2022年4月祥芝镇列入「2022年农业产业强镇」创建名单，2025年3月被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范乡镇」；此前获得「全国文明村镇」「国家级生态乡镇」等称号。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇内的祥芝国家中心渔港在祥渔村，古浮村有民国初年建成的蔡松柏宅，祥农村有烟墩山，分别见各村条目。[3]

著名人物[edit]

物理学家谢希德（1921—2000）出生在祥芝镇赤湖村。她1946年从厦门大学毕业，后任复旦大学校长，1980年当选中国科学院学部委员（院士）。[3][6]
