锦亭村是蚶江镇下辖的行政村，位于镇政府驻地西南方向约4.1公里处，东连洪窟村，北与水头村相邻。村名来自村中一座亭子。全村分为五个片区。[1][2][4]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

相传有一位官员路过此地，在亭下歇息，见百姓围观，以为此地百姓热情好客，便对这座亭子周围的百姓另眼相待。邻近百姓在亭下路边筑屋，形成一条小街，名为亭下街，后改称锦亭。[1]

宋代属安仁乡江阴里，元、明、清属二十四都，民国时属四区和石狮区。1949年仍属石狮区，1956年归莲塘区，1958年组建锦亭大队，1984年改为锦亭村民委员会。[1][3]

人口与村情[edit]

据2025年8月公布的村情信息，全村外来人口1190多人，户籍人口1845人；住户512户，村民代表45名。辖区面积1平方千米。[2]

村内设有蚶江中学、锦亭小学，另有农商银行锦亭支行、标准化农贸市场一个。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2015年村被定为新型社区建设试点村。村获得的荣誉有「石狮市先进基层党组织」、「征兵工作先进村」和「泉州市文明村」。[2]
