洪窟村是蚶江镇下辖的行政村，位于镇政府驻地西南约4公里，石蚶公路西侧。村辖五个片区和洋井自然村，村名由原称龙窟改来，因洪氏人丁兴盛而得名。[1][2][4]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

村周围三面高地、中间低凹，原称龙窟。宋代为杂姓聚居，后洪氏人丁兴盛，遂改称洪窟。[1]

南宋淳熙年间，洪氏一支自江西迁来定居。[1]

宋代归安仁乡江阴里，元、明、清时在二十四都，民国时属四区、石狮市和蚶江乡。新中国成立后，1949年归永宁区，1952年划入双湖区，1958年设洪窟大队，1984年改称洪窟村委会。[1]

人口与村情[edit]

据2025年8月公布的村情信息，全村外来人口2895人左右，户籍人口4517人；住户1258户，村民小组25个，村民代表58人。辖区面积约2.46平方千米，耕地约1200亩。村内现有企业和小作坊214家。[2]

地理[edit]

境内山峰有九龙山、奄山。辖内的洋井自然村位于镇政府驻地西南约3.1公里，地势低落，自洪窟望去村落似在井中，因西北临海而得名洋井。[1][3]
