厝仔村是蚶江镇下辖的行政村，位于石狮市区东郊、宝盖山北麓，由两个自然村组成。村名来自明代中叶杂姓垦荒时所建的简陋房舍，村中以许氏为主。村内设有闽南理工学院蚶江校区。[1][2]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

相传明代中叶，有杂姓在此垦荒造田，建起简陋的茅屋。方言称居屋为「厝」，外乡人见房舍低矮、村落凋敝，便称此地为厝仔。[1]

民国时属石狮镇，1961年设厝仔村委会，1990年起属蚶江镇。[1]

姓氏[edit]

村中以许氏为主，许氏明初移入，奉艳山公为开基始祖，传至今已二十六代。[3]

人口与村情[edit]

据2025年8月公布的村情信息，全村外来人口约5000人，其中包括闽南理工大学的师生；户籍人口2670人；住户724户，村民小组11个，村民代表59人。[2]

荣誉[edit]

村子曾多次获泉州市文明村、明星村称号。1994年以来，村连续六届获评省级文明村；2017年11月获评第五届全国文明村，2020年11月再获评第六届全国文明村。[2]

1999年，村被列为改旧建新示范村。[4]
