石农村是蚶江镇下辖的行政村，位于石狮市西北部，地处金钗山西侧，三面临海、一面依山。旧名日湖，村内有宋代的八角井和北宋的水尾塔。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

本村原属石湖一带，旧名日湖。据《闽书》的说法，海湾望去旭日如从湖中升起，故得此名。早期回族郭氏先祖在此辟居。[3][1]

宋代归安仁乡永宁里，此后的元、明、清时期隶属晋江县二十二都。新中国成立后，1949年归第九区（永宁区），1952年划入双湖区，1956年归莲塘区石湖乡，1958年设大队。1981年分为4个生产队，后又分设农业大队与渔业大队，1984年改称石农。[3]

人口与村情[edit]

据2025年8月公布的村情信息，全村外来人口1100人，户籍人口2417人；住户656户，村民小组10个，村民代表56人。百度百科记2024年常住人口为2568人。[2][4]

产业[edit]

村民主要从事海上运输和滩涂养殖。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

八角井位于草板角，宋代所建，以一整块花岗岩石凿成井口，井口外形八角，故名。据传南宋幼主南逃时，此地建过行宫，这口井便是行宫的水井。[3]

水尾塔在村南海边，北宋政和年间建成。涨潮时海水只到塔下，淹不到塔身。[3]

荣誉[edit]

村获得的荣誉有石狮市先进基层党组织、「石狮市文明村」、「泉州市文明村」、「福建省文明村」等，另在2025年获「第七届全国文明村镇」称号。[2][4]
