历史沿革[edit]
南唐在公元949年前后授留从效泉漳等州的观察使之职，此后留从效在本地筑寨城。今存残垣，长约60米，高3.2米，宽4.2米，由条石纵横垒成。城内外尚留有城仔内、城仔外、校场等地名。[3]
北宋熙宁元年（1068年）在此设巡检寨，名为石湖寨。[3]
1981年分设农业、渔业两个大队，1984年改称石渔村。[3]
人口与村情[edit]
据2025年8月公布的村情信息，全村外来人口1000多人，户籍人口2777人；住户735户，村民小组5个，村民代表52人。劳动力主要从事海上运输，以及内海、滩涂养殖和内海捕捞。[2]
文化与古迹[edit]
村西北的旧码头处有再借亭，为明朝崇祯年间所立。当年右参政曾樱管辖晋江一带，因百姓挽留而获准再留任，于是立碑盖亭，碑文为张瑞图所撰。[3]
林銮渡和六胜塔被纳入「古泉州（刺桐）史迹」申报世界文化遗产的范围。村民以郭氏（回族）为主，其次有周、卢、谢、林、纪等姓。[2][3]
村获得的荣誉有「2016-2018年度文明村」、「2019年生态宜居重点村」、「中国少数民族特色村寨」和「乡村记忆示范村」等。[2]
