雪上村地处石狮市西北一隅，南靠石泉二路，东临石狮大道，北连宝盖鞋城，西与晋江杏坂村相接，距市中心约4.5公里。[1]

村名的来历有两说：一说村临海，潮涌白浪如雪；一说海滩盐碱土经日晒后白如片雪。[2][3]

地名[edit]

村子的名称有两种来历：一说海潮涌来时白浪翻滚，村民在海滩建屋，故称“雪上”；另一说海滩盐碱土经日晒板结，白光闪烁，似片片白雪，因此得名。[2]

古时村子三面临海，形成岛屿，形似卧龙，故有雅称“龙屿”；村名又曾写作“索上”，见于道光《晋江县志·铺递志》。[3]

姓氏与迁徙[edit]

元代，鉴湖张氏迁居此地，自称“龙屿衍派”，此后蔡、丁、倪等姓陆续迁入。[3]

清代，蚶江与鹿港对渡，雪上张氏有人渡台定居，并在台湾编修《龙屿张氏族谱》。[3]

行政沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属二十五都，民国时属石狮镇浦内保。1953年设雪上初级合作社，1956年设高级合作社，1958年设雪上大队，1984年设村民委员会。[2]

据2026年3月的行政村简介，常住1836人，住户490户；村民代表44人，支部党员59名，村两委7人。[1]
