玉浦村位于宝盖镇西北部，是石狮的北大门，村内有石泉二路、狮城大道等主要干线经过。[1]
地名[edit]
玉浦地处晋江诸多溪河流入泉州湾海域的地方，自古称“浦内”，雅称“玉浦”或“玉澜浦”。[2]
历史与文物[edit]
玉浦古属晋江县廿五都，曾建有从属泉州港的重要码头。[2]
玉浦寿昌宫碑刻始建于明代中期，清代乾隆、光绪年间重修，为坐北朝南的宫庙建筑，东西两侧墙上嵌有清代及民国时期重修宫庙、兴修水利等内容的碑刻。[3]
位置与交通[edit]
村子连接晋江陈埭与新塘街道办事处，并靠近泉州环城高速的互通口，石湖港码头运输线也经过这里。[1]
