华山村是灵秀镇下辖的行政村，依临大北山，原名「山兜」，1994年10月设立。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村民依大北山建居，故称「华山」。山地上层层的云母片在阳光下闪闪发光，古时曾称「金山」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

大北山原名「大鸟山」，位于村北，主峰海拔84.7米，山体由沙、泥岩和红土构成，植被以小杂木为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村中蔡氏的始祖于明朝时迁来定居。1994年10月，华山村设立。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2015年10月，华山村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2019年6月，华山村列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[1]
