历史沿革[edit]
此处旧时是新华、大仑、新湖、林边等村居的交界地带。上世纪七八十年代，旧城区的一些居民来此盖房，聚成新村，新村因大脚印之说得名。[1][2]
1993年石狮办事处一分为四后，设仙迹居民委员会，2002年整合为社区居委会。[1]
