新阁村地处德化县西北边陲，位于春美乡东北部，距乡政府所在地约7公里，土地总面积13.6平方千米，村名取新垅与阁台两地各一字。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

阁台原属双翰乡，新垅、下阁台则属尤床乡，这几处地方在1958年以前一直分开。1958年，它们合并组成新阁大队。1984年改制后，此地称春美乡新阁村，并设新阁村委会。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村域处于高山地带，平均海拔高度730米，耕地约850亩，林地约16000亩，其中毛竹林约4000亩。[1]

村中新阁、久长两处小水电站，合计装机1610千瓦。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据2021年春美乡各村简介，全村215户1117人。[1] 常住居民160人，其中六十岁以上的有128人；外出流动人口957人。[1] 居民以陈、苏两姓为多。[2]

经济[edit]

村内经济以种植业和养殖业为主，农作物有水稻、甘薯、马铃薯，山上产毛竹，村里创办了一家毛竹加工厂。[2]

2008年，所在党组织获德化县委授予先进基层党组织称号；2007年，获县委评为「五个好」先进党组织。[1] 2020年12月，新阁村被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

新阁狮子岩是县级文物保护单位，类别为古遗址，年代记为中华民国。[2][3] 文物名录中另有新阁上林堂，为清代一般不可移动文物。[3]
