琼山村在德化县大铭乡北部，与汤头乡接壤，古称长山。全村的八个自然村，依次为上六坑、清洁寨、石碑洋、三厢仔、枣格、蜈蚣岭、百称尾与长山。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

全村土地总面积8.8平方千米，海拔750米。境内空气湿润，水源充足，具备发展水果生产的条件。[2]

境内有高岭土、石英石等矿产，其中一处已探明高岭土矿目前在开采中。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由境内两个自然村名各取一字组成。[1]

1961年6月，大铭人民公社设立，琼山成为其下的生产大队。1984年10月，大队改为村，即现在的琼山村，并设立村委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

全村248户799人（博雅地名网，年份未注），村民皆为汉族。耕地990亩（年份未注），主要粮食作物为水稻、甘薯和马铃薯。林地面积11279亩，森林覆盖率达85.4％（年份未注）。[1][2]

村内有米粉加工，历史悠久，属传统手工业。[1][2]

文化[edit]

清代境内建有瓷窑，列入「第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录」的有下格坑窑、单山隙窑、后溪窑三处，均为清代。另有「琼山德厚堂」（清）。这些均属一般不可移动文物。[4][3]

2024年1月，村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
