上徐村在德化县大铭乡西南部，与春美乡相邻，海拔约877米。村内有不者、内洋、外洋三个自然村。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

全村土地总面积8.4平方千米，四周群山起伏，光热充足，雨量充沛。境内有石英石矿产。[1][2]

林地面积10204亩（年份未注），森林覆盖率为79.6％。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名古称“上儒”。据传宋咸淳年间（1265—1274年），李氏迁居此地开基，后改称“上徐”。[1]

清代中叶至民国时期，因人口外迁，村子渐趋衰落。据博雅地名网，村中李姓族人迁往顺昌、沙县、建宁等地的有一百一十余人，到台湾、南洋谋生者二十余人。[2]

1961年，赤水人民公社设上徐大队；1984年10月改称大铭乡上徐村，设村委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

全村141户473人（博雅地名网，年份未注）。耕地742亩（年份未注），粮食作物以水稻、马铃薯和甘薯为主。经济作物有黄花菜、魔芋、生姜与槟榔芋；种植毛竹、早熟水蜜桃与黄花菜，已成为本村的主导产业。[1][2]

文化[edit]

村内列入「第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录」的有「上徐乐安亭」（清，2005年）、「上徐陇西堂」（清）和「上徐拱桥」（明，位于拱桥坑），均属一般不可移动文物。[3]
