陈溪村位于德化县桂阳乡南端，地处覆鼎山，村中的自然村有陈后祠与黄村里。[1][2]村域面积约8.57平方千米，1999年末登记为153户684人。[2]

地名与沿革[edit]

元朝时，陈、胡、余三姓先后在此居住。明代，肖君达迁入并建起侯屿堂，村名因此叫作陈侯屿；新中国成立后改称陈溪村。[1][2]

陈、胡两姓先在此开发，这片地被叫作陈胡屿。明洪武二年（1369年），肖君达迁入，把地名改为陈后祠，俗称陈头祠。[2]村民于1989年重建通兴岩，内奉清水祖师和朱公。[2]

明洪武三年（1370年），周伯至迁到黄村里繁衍生息，黄村里因早年为黄姓开发而得名。[2]

1950年属第四区桂涌乡，1951年设陈溪乡，仍属第四区。1958年，村中设陈溪大队，隶属上涌公社；1961年转归溪洋公社，1984年才叫陈溪村。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村子属亚热带季风气候，有溪流发源于陈后祠一带，向北流去。[2]林副产品有松脂、土纸、笋干、红菇等；药材方面，村里出产双宝花、黄花金桂与灵芝草。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

普查名录登记的陈溪村文物有侯屿堂、通兴岩两处，年代均为清，列为一般不可移动文物。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2020年2月，陈溪村入选「福建省第三批省级传统村落」。[2]
