王春村是德化县桂阳乡的行政村，位于乡政府西南约3公里处，下设9个自然村。[1][2]村域面积约14.19平方千米，1999年末有1168人。[2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名的来历有几种说法：博雅地名网记载，村子最早由王姓开发，本称王村，又叫王春；元末一度改名黄树，民国23年（1934年）编保甲时复称王春。[2]百度百科则说村名由元代的「黄树」演变而来，1934年更名王春。[1]

民国初期，此地曾与桂阳、溪洋一同联保；1935年设王春保，1939年改属桂溪乡，1944年改属桂涌乡。[2]1958年成立王春大队，归上涌公社管辖；1961年划入溪洋公社。[2]1984年起，这里成为桂阳乡下的王春村，设村委会。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村子处于沟谷地带，东北面是大帽山，西面有大仙岐山作屏障。[2]

村内耕地约1283亩，林地约1.6万亩，果园约530亩；农业是村里的主业，林业、水电与瓷土矿开采也有所经营。[2][4]

人口[edit]

1999年末，全村共249户，人口1168人，男性597，女性571，劳动力560人。[2][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

普查名录登记的王春村文物有倒村窑、下地洋窑两处，年代为清，以及昭灵宫和宏开堂，年代也是清代。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，王春村获「2021年度福建省森林村庄」称号。[1][2]
