汤垵村是汤头乡的行政村，位于乡境西北部，与尤溪县相邻，平均海拔约400米，全村土地总面积15.96平方千米。[1][2]村内分为汤坑、桉樟、饭桶垵3个自然村。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

境内的温泉与建在斜坡上的村舍，是村名的来历。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明、清及民国时期，这里属德化县梅上里通京保。[1]新中国成立后，它先归第六区的民主乡；1958年划入上涌人民公社的岭脚生产大队，次年又转隶葛坑人民公社的龙塔生产大队。[1]

1961年成立汤垵生产大队；1984年改称汤头乡汤垵村，设村委会。[1]

人口与资源[edit]

2004年底，全村177户、729人。[2]2024年，全村为280户、850人。[3]

村内森林与矿产资源丰富，主栽板栗和早熟水蜜桃。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，汤垵村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2022年10月，省级部门把汤垵村列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，该村另获「综治平安村」称号。[1][3]
